8.1 Secret Seal
At that time, in the entire body of the Meditation Master, there is a venerable being appearing at each pore of His skin. Around Him, there are numberless venerable beings readily appearing, worshiping, preserving, and praising the measureless virtuous merits of the Meditation Master who has completely saved all living beings to achieve the Buddha path. When the Meditation Master just finishes His bright preaching, uncountable strata of living beings perceive it, with love and respect for Him. All of them speak to Him respectfully: “There is every race of every precept that gave birth to us.” The Meditation Master laughs and claps His hands; all of them clap their hands too and praise Him. The Meditation Master says: “How strange it is in the way for liberation.” He then ordains all living being natures to become future Buddhas. —T. V.
I heard the Lord say the following:
As for the Meditation Master of Brilliant Tao as the Lord, when He has become the Buddha each pore of His skin has a transformed Buddha. From every speech, every act, and every thought of His, all are manifesting transformed Buddhas. There is a transformed Buddha appearing in every instant. The Lord’s entire body has the incalculability of transformed Buddhas appearing around Him with respect.
For the Lord, He could emerge from the True Contemplation to travel anywhere; He could enter into the True Contemplation to come in and out of the Miraculous Observation all over. With the Lord’s intention, there are immediately the transformed Buddhas who simultaneously travel over many destinations to save the living beings in an unthinkable manner whereas the Fairies and Devas, who could travel only with a single venerable one in their whole body. Why? It’s because they are still holding one precept as their main foundation. For that reason, when the fixed thought is apparently formed, there could be only one venerable being appearing who travels to a single destination, then the appearance of another venerable one going to another destination could be happened only after the first one returned to the body. The True Enlightenment of the Buddhas is so immense that none of the Fairies and Saints could know about.

Therefore, it is an eternal error of the Tao practitioners having the Divine eyes or the Divine ears, who hastily claim themselves to be Buddhas. The living beings are convinced of precise words, considering these Tao practitioners sublime, due to their Divine eyes or Divine ears. However, the living beings do not expect that the Bodhisattvas and Buddhas knowing well these practitioners, who are still millions of miles away, unworthy by all means, just being equal to a pore of skin in the body of the World’s Most Venerable, the Lord Maitreya.
Therefore, the future Patriarchs should not hastily claim to be Buddhas!
At that time, the Meditation Master has known thoroughly the emerging and entering from the Tathagata Constitution, dividing it into the oriental and non-oriental, the harmonious and inharmonious Tathagata. He has compatibly appeared to the Dharma Body manifestation, with the whole body of the enlightened Tathagata. From each to uncountable pores of His skin without boundary, the countless precept scenes therefore simultaneously and compatibly appear; the manifestation of innumerable worlds which are still coming out from each pore of skin that is called the Compatible Apparition of the Dharma Body of the Enlightened One. —T. As for the Meditation Master of Brilliant Tao like the Supreme Venerable Maitreya, the emerging from and entering into the True Contemplation of Samadhi is His routine performance. Though, the Lord orientates or does not orientate the emersion and immersion in whatsoever the matter is, He meticulously knows everything because He has already mastered the Tathagata Constitution.
Though, resolving Dharmas harmoniously or inharmoniously, it will not reduce the Lord’s measureless virtuous merits. All the Dharma Bodies of Buddha also contain the Tathagata Constitution, which the Lord has completely accomplished. Therefore, His harmonious or inharmonious manifestation still is the complete salvation in accordance with Tathagata. The Lord performed these miracles for the Four Followers of the Dharma Constitution, but very few true Buddhist disciples in the Tao place could recognize them.
I heard the Lord say the following:
In the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds, there are inherently pre-existing Tiny Dust Buddhas and Instant Buddhas, which mean there are already pre-existing supernatural powers. All are not outside the electricity of the universe, which commands the Four Species. The Tao practitioner, once truly enlightened, grasps in hand all the mysterious factors of the universe. The electricity is inherently the transformation, like the bodies of Buddhas, with countless strata of Tiny Dust Buddhas, Instant Buddhas appearing and existing perpetually. Like medicine, the more studies and researches are carried out the more diseases are also discovered...
The success in the illusion of science is the reality of human beings. For the Tao practitioner, who is not attached, doubtful or rebellious, transporting thousands of Dharmas smoothly, whatever they speak or do everywhere will be clear. For those who comprehend the Dharma, preaching the Dharma is to clarify, that is their own possession, while the listeners who have not realized it, that is not the listeners’ possession.
Whatever the living beings say and do is the transformation of their intelligence into thoughts, which give birth to different classes and levels. The one preaches the Dharma well, that is the transformation of intelligence into comprehensive knowledge, making one become an eloquent preacher. This reason overcoming the other one brings about eloquence.
The Supernatural Power is inherently in the unconsciousness.
Incessantly, after leaving it’s returning. —T. V.
Why? Because Tao practitioners and living beings prefer a complicated and fictitious lifestyle, they virtually seek for the supernatural power in the far horizon or the deserted forests.
So, where is the supernatural power of the Four Species living? Wherever the Four Species are living there must be the supernatural power. Human beings can stand upright because there are forces of the supernatural power in both their interior and exterior. Speaking in the language of science, there is the atmospheric pressure affecting the surface of the material that keeps it standing, because the interior of human body has electric currents of the universe which flow out and in via the pores of skin. When human or Four Species stops breathing, they fall down, not able to stand anymore because the electric current no longer enter and exit the body henceforth.
The youngster walks and stands steadily while the elders behave weakly, the hair becomes gray because the diffusion of the halo from the interior body outspread is getting weaker; the pores of skin and the devoid space inside the body are the place where the supernatural power coming in and out. When attaining True Enlightenment, the Tao practitioner can mobilize the Tiny Dust Buddhas, Instant Buddhas from every pore of skin to come out and in with self-mastery and fearlessness to acquire the great compassion. Beard and hair are the residue of the supernatural power.
In the Dharma practice, the supernatural power evolves in parallel with the development of the thoughts of self-mastery and great compassion. In fact, HUMAN BEINGS DO NOT CONTAIN THE KNOWLEDGE INSIDE THE BODY; rather, the supernatural power is in transformation. The universe inherently contains the ‘square’ containers called the Tathagata Constitution.
If the knowledge is stored in the body, it will be buried and disappear after death. Most scientists also believe that knowledge is in the body. In fact, knowledge literally lies in the universe; whatever subject is stored in its own square container. From birth to maturity of a human, their knowledge—which was accumulated in the past on a certain subject, customs, habits, and concept of life—is now all reflected by the Tathagata Constitution.
For example, for the learner who specializes in the English language, all the deportment and activities in their life entirely lay in the essence of Tathagata Constitution that specializes in the English language. The Tathagata Constitution that comes out and in, returning the knowledge to us from the four directions. The more eminent one’s character is, the greater intelligent and knowledgeable one becomes.
The more intelligent a human is, the wider their knowledge becomes. That is called the Holy Person, Holy Deva, or Holy Philosopher. From the antiquity to the present time, what means of the Dharma practice have been used by human beings? Practicing by the eye, the ear, the head, all of these are entangled in the level of ordinary human. Using the Tathagata Constitution—the all-embracing—for practicing, a Tao practitioner will comprehend everything. Such a Tao practitioner knows how to make use of their body in this present lifetime to cultivate according to the right path of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas; they also know how to be close to the Good-Intelligent-Awakened One in seeking for the Tao Dharma. That practitioner, therefore, will be guided to gain the return from the Tathagata Constitution; they are thus capable of recognizing and knowing everything clearly.
What is the Tathagata Constitution? That is the hearing of the hearing, the seeing of the seeing, and the knowing of the knowing. Therefore, a Tao practitioner needs to use the hearing to hear, the seeing to see and the knowing to know. If being able to recognize that, one’s hearing–seeing–knowing will no longer be rebellious and there will be no more interruption, differentiation, and destruction.
As for the one being enlightened, constructing a certain faculty, they would be clear only in that faculty. The enlightenment does not mean the full enlightenment. Only the One of complete enlightenment could be entirely clear. The One who is entirely clear penetrates with adequacy to readily enter into the True Contemplation of Samadhi. Every time and every place this One is manifesting the Most Essential Physical Body of Samadhi. It is not easy to recognize the Dharma practice leading to the One Level (Ekayana) in its right meaning that is initiated presently by the Supreme Maitreya Buddha.
The Intuitive Apparition is a using place of the Primary Bodhisattva. To the Great Bodhisattva rank, they are often make use both of the Intuitive Apparition and Sympathetic Apparition. Those with the Sympathetic Apparition often sympathize with the Three Postures and the Three Thousand Worlds. Emerging from the meditation to travel all over the worlds, that is the Sympathetic Apparition. Only the One who has achieved the complete attainment could have the True Apparition. These four forms of apparition[102] are still in the Dharma Body of Buddha, which perfectly appears in accordance with each level of Tao practitioners, who have achieved the acquirement. For each stratum of Tao practitioners without acquirement, who are still in insane confusion, who can still inherit the apparition. In the manifestation of Compatible Apparition, there are two types called the apparition of the True Reward and the retribution. These are neither the mind apparition nor the Dharma mind. The apparition of the mind Dharma is naturally the Dharma Body appearing correspondingly. Why is that? It is due to the natural combination, the instinct of the essential nature appearing simultaneously. —T. V.
From the secular world to the Devas, Fairies, and Deities, Sravakas, Pratyekas and Arahants, all are using the statute of Compatible Apparition. Therefore, the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva compatibly appears to save them in accordance with their wishes. There are Tao practitioners inclining to worshipping and supplicating favor from supreme beings, resulting in the supernatural efficacy that belongs to the Compatible Apparition.
The Intuitive Apparition is the intuition of the Dharma Subject of Samadhi. It is by the Intuitive Apparition that a Tao practitioner could raise their own awareness to recognize the Three Postures residing all over every region. At that time the practitioner immediately perceives the Sympathetic Apparition. The Bodhisattvas can have the Intuitive Apparition, but do not have the True Apparition, which up to now only the World’s Most Venerable, the Supreme Maitreya has possessed.
The Bodhisattvas observe throughout and discern that: Human beings are temporarily living in this secular world. For that reason, they inevitably need not only in the material but also in the spirit. As for the doctrines of the Saints, they contribute to support the spirituality. From the Taoism, the Confucianism, the Brahmanism, the Catholicism, the Protestantism, the Islamism, the Hinduism to the Theosophy..., all the religions are purposely nourishing the spirituality; when departing from life, the human beings will ascend to Heaven or return to God, and that is all, belonging to the statute of Compatible Apparition—There is the supernatural efficacy with supplicating, otherwise without supplicating there is none.
[102] Those are the Compatible Apparition, the Intuitive Apparition, the Sympathetic Apparition, and the True Apparition.
Buddhism is only the religion, aiming to guide the human beings to achieve the True Enlightenment, being liberated from life beyond the circle of the universe. Why?
Because of Buddhism discovered the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds outside the Heaven. And the experimental science has recently discovered what the Buddha taught for thousands of years ago.
Psychology has been studied from the thoughts that latter manifest into the action, knowing all the human psychology to maneuver and help them. Nevertheless, psychology has not known that once the spirituality and materiality are in harmony in the consciousness constitution of human, everything is become mature.
Philosophy makes full use of the thoughts, coming to the perfect comprehension of the thoughts and finally understanding thoroughly every stratum of humans, then becoming erudite. But it never attains the marvelous purpose of the enlightenment about the original truth nor is it able to explain whatever the Buddha path has acquired and whatever the Buddha path has resolved in the way of transmigration of birth and death.
Human beings often make use of thoughts to nourish spirituality, generating the precept scene where they will be destined after departing from life. Only the Buddhas and Mahasattva Bodhisattvas clearly know, rightly see without fixation, simply examining to save humankind, helping Tao practitioners to sense the Intuitive Apparition towards the Sympathetic Apparition so that they could escape from the transmigration of birth and death. Owing to that, a Tao practitioner could recognize their own ego, that is called the True Contemplation of Samadhi.
Having the thought of seeking True Enlightenment, a Tao practitioner will achieve the compatible apparition of True Reward. With the thoughts outside the fundamental enlightenment, they will fall in the instinct and receive the compatible apparition of retribution fairly.
The seeds of living being natures inherently exist in the Four Species; those living being natures are no other than the various breeds of bacteria inside the body. When they express phonetically in the body, naturally the human beings generate thoughts. There are the incalculable thoughts produced, there are also such incalculable seeds of natures—bacteria—that are present.
The more knowledgeable a Tao practitioner or a Meditation Master becomes in their Dharma practice, the wiser the breeds of bacteria in their body become. When departing from life, the body of Four Masses disintegrates and the knowledge that belongs to the Tathagata Constitution is returned to its square containers in the universe. When a new body is reborn, the knowledge will be reflected in it. A Meditation Master just looks at the character, the gesture, the present lifestyle resorting to His acquirement of the Intuitive Apparition, He sympathetically knows the previous lifetimes in the past as well as the future of living beings. He could identify where a Tao practitioner will be reborn; therefrom, He could free the soul accordingly. With the profound Intuitive Apparition, one can know many lifetimes in the past whereas with the compatible apparition, one is just capable of recalling one lifetime. Achieving the profound Intuitive Apparition, it is like having trampled crushingly earth, which belongs to the rank of the Bodhisattva of Unthinkableness, the Bodhisattva of Unrecoil.
At this point, the Lord ceased for a while, taking a sip of tea, and continued His teaching:
When a Meditation Master becomes the Buddha, all the bacteria in His body grow into numberless strata of Bodhisattvas in True Apparition, making full solemnity of the Salvaged Nation. For that reason, there are Natural Mind Apparition and corresponding apparition of the Dharma Body.
Why? Because of the natural transformation, that is due to the pre-existing essential nature simultaneously appearing into the Tiny Dust Buddhas, the Instant Buddhas. Whenever the Meditation Master is thinking, whatever His way of resolving the secular world is, the bacteria growing into the Bodhisattvas come to the places, appear in body and carry out His order perfectly, purposely accomplishing The Secular World Solver[103] according to the sealed decision of the Meditation Master.
When the Meditation Master acquires the Tao, there are countless seeds of natures in Him, which also acquire the Tao, that is called the Sea of Truth. When the Meditation Master acquires the Supreme Rank, there are countless seeds of natures in Him, which also acquire the Supreme Rank as well, that is called the Sea of Supreme Rank World. Therefore, in case of need the Meditation Master just gives an order immediately within an instant, there are one, two or many countless Tiny Dust Buddhas in the body of Meditation Master in true apparition. The one who enters the True Contemplation knows well all the bacteria in His body.
The body of living being is the insubstantiality because the human being body is composed by the soil, water, wind, and fire. The bacteria move to and fro, run back and forth in the blood vessels, in the bone marrow.... to form the knowledge of living beings. Due to the body, which is formed insubstantially by the Four Masses, our knowledge is also insubstantial. Therefore, when a Tao practitioner is able to command the seeds of natures—all bacteria in His body, that is called “the Buddhas appearing in the entire body.” At that time, each speech, gesture completely appears in the Most Essential Physical Body of Samadhi. Samadhi is the secret satisfying result (through precept-contemplation) of the Tathagata, precisely is the Secret Seal.
The Bodhisattva is the one who has overcome challenges, being conferred the Sealed Wisdom by the Buddhas through the great means of the favorable and unfavorable, the tranquil and chaotic, the form and formless. It’s truly difficult to foresee the Lord’s Miraculous Utilization, so there would be a tendency of doubt and giving up the practice before completion. Only a minor mistake could deteriorate the whole practice path constructed with full strenuous effort for long time. Therefore, the true disciples had to be self-repentant, repenting their mistake so the Lord would acknowledge them. Some true disciples were allowed to restart their Dharma practice from the beginning.

Only after being able to overcome and in harmony, the Tao practitioner is conferred the Mind-Seal. The Mind-Seal is the Tathagata’s Secret Seal, which cannot be expressed adequately in writing or sound. Ceasing for a while, the Lord then continued teaching:
There are the various breeds of bacteria inside the entire body; each part or each organ has its own specific breed of bacteria. They secrete a viscous substance, which goes straightly to kidneys to transform into spermatozoa. The spermatozoa wait for the sexual intercourse to conceive and produce human beings, who immediately have the knowing, depending on the rooted capability of each being.
Therefore, a Tao practitioner with meditated intelligence, brightly examing their own body-mind to dissolve the unconsciousness and frequent attachment will get the clear comprehension and acquire the Samadhi. If a Tao practitioner uses their wisdom, intellect to study even with an excellent learning like a scholar, they are only practicing for blessed rewards. Successfully practicing meditation could perceive simultaneously the breath and the life of species of vegetation as well as the rhythmical movement of the globe. That includes all kinds of bird melodiously chattering in symphony with the sounds of whistling wind, becoming the countless phrases of prayer to the Buddhas, to the Dharma and to the Sangha without ending. A Tao practitioner, though with an earnest spirit, not having the advanced Buddhist intelligence, is still erroneous in the fanaticism.
In this Period of Return and Dharma-Ending, The Supreme Venerable Maitreya has come to the world to reorganize the Buddha Path, so that the Tao practitioner practicing by leaving their ego could still grasp the line of the Intuitive Apparition. Here are the two verses written by the Lord:
Naturally that Dharma-Ending Age has just come to an end.
The True Dharma immediately appears to succeed gloriously. —T. V.
A Tao practitioner, who acquires the true meditation, knows well the permanent characteristic of every seed of nature. Owing to his complete enlightenment, he can clearly know how the Devas, Fairies, Deities and Saints have been polluted and which corresponding precept scenes they will be reborn. From the place of holding the ego, how they are realizing and trainig their self-ego to create the supernatural power, the magic power, he meticulously and thoroughly knows all of that without omission, he therefore enters into the True Contemplation of Samadhi for saving them.
To the Buddhas, the Six Supernatural Powers and the supernatural power of Samadhi are not as important as the Samadhi. For that reason, the Buddha has taught the Bodhisattvas: “The True Contemplation of Samadhi is the temporary residence of the Bodhisattva executing the Mahasattva while realizing the Real Form and Formlessness of Samadhi, but not profoundly, is the Samadhi supernatural power of the Arahant rank.”
