Truth once attained, it is still just a Reason of Truth, not really the Truth. Lean toward the Truth in order to have abundant achievements. Otherwise, attaching on the Truth that has just arrived as the abundant Truth — it’s quite illogical, that never comes.

Just like a person knows there is a lotus pond on the other side, but they have never been there. The same go for the Truth. —T. V.

                                   –Teacherless Sutra

The Lord did not want to write any sutra. Later, the Ratnagarbha Buddha advised Him to write it: if the present generation reads it, but cannot grasp its meaning, the future ones practicing Self-Nature will understand it.

Reverend Tịnh Vương incarnating Lord Supreme Maitreya, the True Supreme Venerable, has four essential responsibilities in guiding the human beings as well as the Four Species in the Dharma-Ending Age.

The first responsibility is bringing the Enlightenment-about-Form’s Tathagata seeds to attest the Four Species, who are holding their egoes of unreal forms, returning to the Enlightenment about Form. —T. V.

Tathagata seeds inherently cover all the Four Species, which are the oviparous birth, inferior birth, metamorphosis birth, and the fetus birth. Deities and Fairies are born through metamorphosis. Human is fetus born. The oviparous birth belongs to the species that is born from eggs. The inferior birth belongs to the species that is born from moisture or in water. Tathagata seeds are present all over the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds.

Fairy belonging to the species of metamorphosis birth

Human belonging to the species of fetus birth

Bird belonging to the species of oviparous birth

Earthworm belonging to the species of inferior birth

Tathagata seeds are precisely HEARING, SEEING and KNOWING. The Dharma practice through hearing, seeing and knowing is the practice on thousands and thousands of Dharmas, using the Tathagata Constitution to practice. Here is the doctrine: practice on the Tathagata Constitution will be aware of the Constitution and return to the Suchness Constitution; until the Constitution is eliminated, the Tao practitioner immediately comes to the Supreme Truth.

The Dharma practice by using the ears and eyes is still not sufficient. The Dharma practice by using the Tathagata Constitution, which is all-embracing, will attain the Tao fruit. One day, The World’s Most Venerable asked Mr. Ananda: “Which quantity is bigger, the wisp of leaves in my hand or the leaves in the forest?”

Mr. Ananda respectfully answered: “Reverend the World’s Most Venerable, the leaves in the forest are countless and those in The World’s Most Venerable’s hand are very few.”

“That’s right,” said The World’s Most Venerable. “The leaves in my hand are insignificant compared with those in the forest.”

“Ananda, My 49 years of teaching the Three Constitutions of Sutras is insignificant compared with the forest of Tathagata Dharma.”

The Three Constitutions of Sutras, having been passed down until today, are exactly the Sutras of life; those are what the Lord was intuitively enlightened while fulfilling the Tao Dharma and taught to His Four Followers. The Sutras of life are precisely hearing, seeing, and knowing, so the Lord had insufficient time to preach all of it. The leaves in the forest of Tathagata are exactly hearing, seeing and knowing. The doctrine of The World’s Most Venerable taught is thus exactly from the forest of hearing, seeing, and knowing in this secular life.

Therefore, it is not enough to learn only the Three Constitutions of Sutras; we also must learn the Sutras of life in order to not be PASSIVE ENLIGHTENMENT. Through hearing, seeing, and knowing, one’s nature immediately appears and one immediately is contaminated. So the Dharma practice in compliance with Buddhist sutra requires correction of natures and abandonment of bad habits in order to avoid being contaminated. When these corrections are finished, one truly hears, sees, and knows, and one will be intuitively enlightened.

In reality, living beings cannot correct themselves completely. Wishing to be enlightened, Tao practitioners have to seek for an enlightened one who could skillfully manipulate Dharmas to save them from starting habits and polluted habits. “Self-light the torch and go.” These words are only intended for the Bodhisattvas who have had self-enlightenment and intuition. Living beings cannot “self-light the torch” to come to the enlightenment.

All living beings inherently have Buddha nature; they therefore are all capable of becoming Buddha, but if they do not meet the One who became a Buddha, they are unable to find the right path to destination. After many years of coming into this human world and teaching the Tao Dharma, Lord Maitreya has shown: the path must be like that, and it is infallible.

1. What Is the Enlightenment about Form?

Though a mind is being generated, no place is able to be pointed as the place of a mind. The Buddha teaches this mind for living beings. Because living beings are often attached and polluted, and hold their egos of unreal forms, they must joyfully detach until no holding. When joyfully detaching at a considerable level, one’s mind is empty and clear, and at that time, the Buddha has just taught: FORM IS MIND. How is one’s form, that is one’s nature, and that why it is called “form is trully nature and mind.” Here, a mind is pointed out with a definite place. Once being clearly aware of individuals’ strongly holding characteristics, seeing that each characteristic has its own usage, this is called the Enlightenment about Form, which goes beyond the living beings’ knowledge and surpasses their judgment. It is the mind that the Buddha teaches the Bodhisattva rank who have practiced the Dharma leading the complete Enlightenment of Form.

The second responsibility is completely saving living beings to make offerings to the Tathagata. —T. V.

The Lord completely saved living beings to make offerings to Tathagata, which meant offerings to the Pure King Buddha, in order to become the Tathagata Buddha and to be integrated into the Buddhas of Ten Directions.

The third responsibility is helping living beings to meet the Buddha and become Buddhist disciples. —T. V.

Each living being is attached to an individual nature called the individual firm characteristic of living beings. The Lord must make His disciples intuitively enlightened of this attachment; they must practice Dharma following the supreme principle of the Buddhas strictly to do so. They therefore must be Buddhist disciples in order to not be lost in heresy.

The fourth responsibility is opening the true nature to avoid interrupting the Buddha cause. —T. V.

All living beings who meet the Buddha are opened to transform their evil nature into the true nature. Those, who often find themselves in disagreement with surrounding actions, find it very difficult to receive. Leaning on joyful detachment, the mind is empty to intuitively recognize the true nature. Once they know the true nature, they naturally treasure the practice path by following the Buddhas without interrupting the Buddha cause.

It is really difficult to meet the One who fulfills the Ten Titles accomplishing the fruit of the Supreme True Venerable, because this One appears corresponding to the firm vow of the Three Postures. In this secular life, from the words to the acts, this One is not different than ordinary people. Thus, neither the Sacred Monks nor Bodhisattvas could recognize Him. It is only the Mahasattva Bodhisattva vowing and conducting in the Prajñà Intelligence who uses the Enlightenment about Form to recognize some parts of His appearance, and thus it’s called “it is difficult to meet Him.” Even the Patriarchs reaching the rank of Arahant, Pratyaka, or Sravaka have to manifest their admiration, respect, and love toward Him because the Supreme Venerable skillfully opens and preaches Tao Dharma according to the rooted capability of all Four Species. This One relies on the Enlightenment about Form to clearly know the true form in its full majesty.

The supreme, deepest and miraculous Dharma,

It is difficult to see through thousands and thousands of lives.

Now the one with golden body can see these words to acquire and observe,

Vowing to interpret the true meaning of Tathagata.

2. The Salvation Guidance of Reverend Tịnh Vương, Incarnating Lord Supreme Maitreya

Appearing in this human world, the Lord fulfilled Tao Dharma for 37 years, being divided into four periods:
