1. The Social Background of the World After the Second World War
A quick glance at the economic, social, and political events of all the countries in the world after the First and Second World Wars showing such an accumulative, serious situation that made erudite people, scientists, and sociologists anxious and fearful.
Many of them became pessimistic and believed that a Third World War caused by their inventions would soon break out, a signal of doomsday drawing near. Alongside extreme human-caused damage were violently ravaging hurricanes, extremely strong earthquakes, prolonged droughts, and the worst floods of the century, killing countless human beings.

3. Who Was Reverend Tịnh Vương Nhất Tôn? What Did the Lord Do for Humankind?

4.2 Nha Trang, city of Khánh Hoà province, where Lord Maitreya fulfilled Tao Dharma
The most notable thing was that the environmental pollution has existed in the soil as well as ponds, lakes, rivers, and seas. The release of toxic gases has continued to damage the ozone layer more and more day by day. Meanwhile, leaders of the technologically advanced countries have not yet perceived the aforementioned dangers promptly to put an end to it.
Only the above-mentioned harms also were the cause of many deadly diseases that spread all over day by day to human beings. Even more atrocious and extremely tragic than the consequences of the First and Second World Wars were the so-called revolutions, which left innocent people with indescribable misery and loss.
Many people of virtue and knowledge were concerned about the survival of humankind. They wondered why humankind has been continuously forced to live in such unstable and unbearable conditions; where would their final destination be? Was this a symptom of the Degenerate-Life Period?[11]
Was it the time of destruction or the Savior-of-the-World’s reincarnation? No one dared to affirm an answer to ease humankind’s anxiety. Especially in Vietnam, the Oracle Scriptures promptly were spread throughout the country: hurry and practice Tao Dharma or be late; it is coming soon; Lord Maitreya was incarnated; keep faith and patiently wait. However, nobody could precisely tell the time when the Lord came into being. At the same time, a lot of people laughed at this mockingly because they considered the above prophecies as unfounded rumors and illusions. They urged everyone to live from the labor of one’s two hands.
[11] That is the period when there are more evil things than good things.
2. The Social Background of Vietnam
With “one thousand years of Chinese domination, one hundred years of French domination, and fifty years of civil war every day,” anyone hearing this could understand that, from the times of their ancestors, the Vietnamese underwent much sorrow and mourning, and the misery lasted from generation to generation. They witnessed barbarous killings, wretchedness, poverty, and deaths caused by starvation and imprisonment; they were heartbroken when their families were separated... Their ancestors’ endurance is unmatched in the world, worthy of respect and admiration.
In such an extremely severe and chaotic social situation, many knowledgeable people clearly realize more and more that humankind has been depressed spiritually with the daily degenerations that are proceeding, making them believe that Lord Maitreya is about to appear, since extreme situations bring about change; it’s a matter of course.
A picture of the Vietnam War
To praise The Founding Master Shakyamuni Buddha’s words more than 2500 years ago, the Lord (Maitreya) preached exactly with truths and realities. After finishing reading this book, monks and nuns, Buddhist followers, sociologists, learned people, and invented scientists: Please form a delegation to visit Southern Vietnam to examine and verify this. You will see that night suddenly becomes day in this miraculous and mysterious world in which we live.
It is very practical and neither illusory nor vague. You will find a new source of life that is tranquilly joyful and full of happiness, not only for the present lifetime, but also for the future ones. If there is no path of reincarnation, why can many Tao practitioners remember who they were, what they did, and where they lived in their former lives? They then also write these down clearly. Sacred People and Meditation Masters who remembered their past lives documented them, and scientists today also heard and saw many documents that were left with demonstrations.
Scientists experiment and examine external objects, but the Eastern Meditation Masters re-examine and discover truths within themselves to know the Universe.
SUPREME TỪ THỊ MAITREYA BUDDHA,
Named Từ Thế Thọ,
Returning to the world 1918-1993.
3. Who Was Reverend Tịnh Vương Nhất Tôn? What Did the Lord Do for Humankind?
Both Tao practitioners and secular people need to know that the intelligence and virtue of Buddhas are transcendent and that the Buddhas have brought the source of life and happiness to the Four Species,[12] although they did not know it.
The Truly Enlightened One only makes use of supernatural power as a necessary means. He does not want to disclose the miracles of the Universe to the arrogant secular people. When His work is finished, He leaves silently, undisturbed by the discussion about right and wrong by living beings. He does not need to stay back to enjoy what He did for the world; as long as He could completely help living beings to be safe and peaceful, that will be enough for Him.
In the Ullambana season of 1969, which was the 2513th year of the Buddhist calendar, thanks to a great opportunity, I became a true disciple of Reverend Tịnh Vương Nhất Tôn. One day, the Lord called me and said:
Pháp Khả,[13] you are a true Buddhist disciple, having rooted capability and a determined mind to seek for the Tao of complete liberation. Now, before the witness of the Three Postures of Buddha, I am proclaiming the following verse so that you and all the future human beings will know I was incarnate in this life, I appeared in this human world, and I have done every useful thing I could to completely save all living beings in this Dharma-Ending Age.
ORIGINAL (VIETNAMESE) VERSION
TỪ đâu Ta đến?

Where did I come from?
Appearing as a layman.
Transmitting the Precious Dharma.
Bringing the country peace and happiness.
Being offered by the Venerables.
Being brightly attested by the King Buddha.
After announcing these verses, Reverend Tịnh Vương kept silent. The atmosphere in the house around where the Lord was sitting suddenly smelled of agarwood incense rising fragrantly and became extraordinarily solemn and warm. Connecting an initial word in these verses, we have this sentence: “TỪ THỊ DI LẠC TÔN PHẬT — Supreme TỪ THỊ Maitreya Buddha.”
I prostrated myself before the Lord, wondering in thoughtful confusion whether Lord Maitreya, in flesh and bone, was truly in front of me. I, along with all Tao practitioners and non-practitioners, whatever their religion, must re-examine this. Lord Maitreya appeared at the due time, in the right situation, and in the right Dharma-Ending Age. The Lord joyfully utilized His great power to endure difficulties and made complete use of Buddha’s power to transform the chaotic Degenerate-Life Period into the Superior-Life Period.
[12] The Four Species are the species born from eggs (as with birds, reptiles, fishes…), the species born from moisture or in water (as with mosquitoes, worms, insects…), the species born through metamorphosis (as with Deities, Fairies, butterflies…), and the species born from fetuses (as with humans, horses, cows…).
[13] A Dharma Name of Mahasattva-Bodhisattva Di Như, the author, at that time.
