4.8 The Corresponding Theory and Act
Since the Crown Prince Siddhartha has become the Buddha, His Sutra is a precious document. It is valuable by the fact of transforming people living in unconscious error and behaving perversely into noble great people, who live among humanity in equality and love. It salvages humanity and all species avoiding the hatred and the killing of each other; all relies on the document to practice the corresponding theory and act to gain intuition, called liberation through knowing, seeing, and solving. —T. V.
Since the time The Founding Master came into the world opening the Tao Dharma, living beings of ignorance and obscurity have become honest. Some of them with rooted goodness have received the blessed reward of Divine Humans; some have become Saints, great human Bodhisattvas, and the Buddha. The Dharma subject has truly brought about noble love to the Four Species, even the animals also could not be killed.

The corresponding theory and act means developing morality, resulting in understanding Tao Dharma, and practicing the complete correction of bad natures, bad habits in order to make one’s theory and act be in agreement. Those who have explained well the Tao Dharma and given very good sermons, but not corrected their own natures are called those of unsuitable theory and act; resultingly, their Dharma practice is unable to reach the Knowing-Seeing. If fulfilling the correction, transforming into the good body-mind, the doctrine will be linked with the act, and that Tao practitioner, at a moment of adequacy, will naturally get the intuition in proportion to their level.
Now, it has been over one thousand and five hundred years since the comprehension and guidance were erroneous, the true Dharma practice has not had sufficient effortful merits in conformed with the quintessence of the Buddha path, the knowledge has been unequal and thus hardly developed. Furthermore, the strict application of the sutra has become disorientated dogmatic; though obtaining the result, it is only an outcome according to the individual judgment of each Tao practitioner, who does not have the faculty of acquirement through intuition. —T. V.
Since The Founding Master has entered the Eight Masses of Nirvana more than 2500 years ago, during the first 1000 years, the Patriarchs and Bodhisattvas still passed down the True Dharma. But in the last 1500 years, Tao practitioners have gradually led the living beings in the wrong path, not aiming to correct the natures and resolve the karma in order to dissolve the devilish force. They have just strictly followed the sutra in their preaching, learned many conservative dogmas, and thus not had the ‘Self-Nature, Awareness of Nature.’ Resultingly, not having the faculty of intuition, how could they acquire the enlightenment? The knowledge and judgment through study and research are only hypothetical knowledge; it is too distant from the way of intuition and attested enlightenment.
It truly was a good medicine, an extremely wonderful effective drug to save, but what effect it would produce if it were incorrectly used? Resultingly, that has made living beings and the Buddha path itself undergo the Dharma-Ending Age. —T. V.
The precious golden teaching words from The Founding Master’s Golden Body have brought immeasurable benefits. But in this period, called the Dharma-Ending Age, during His way executing the Tao Dharma, Lord Maitreya witnessed people everywhere no longer paying attention in resolving the devilish karma, the devilish force therefore invading all over, causing the degenerate Dharma in vogue.
