The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva had to shake His head for this Degenerate-Life Period, while all the state leaders in the world, though they could not see where the hand of Buddha was, had to go with the flow. It was evident that evil and sorrow became a PEACEFUL AND JOYFUL SALVAGED-NATION.

Due to the reformation policy, people nowadays can enjoy an easier life. Even the people of Communist states have the opportunity and the right to live in plenty, easily eat and dress luxuriously according to their wishes, and the right to the “new thoughts” of capitalism.

With His great compassion, great power, and great courage, Reverend Tịnh Vương, incarnating Lord Maitreya, brought love manifested by His practical action, without distinction between the people of one side or the other. Though the police of the city of Nha Trang often watched the Lord and waited for an opportunity to arrest Him, He still firmly made use of the Most Practical Supernatural Powers of Samadhi. Once incorporating this Samadhi power, the Lord could neutralize all unsettled Dharmas that penetrated the body. Therefore, besides the evil and the weird, there was the good, which protected and showed respect to Him.

Indeed, Reverend Tịnh Vương, incarnating Lord Maitreya, discreetly vowed and used the conduct of the Secular World Solver unthinkably to bring living beings from the intoxicated and ferocious world to a peaceful and joyful one, while they knew nothing. The free world also misunderstood that they themselves managed or rectified the situation to create peace today.

All the beauty and safety were due to the GOOD VOW – SAMADHI SUPERNATURAL POWER emanating from the Lord. The Lord used it miraculously to transform the so distracted world of the atomic era into the Tranquility-for-Salvation World, abolishing the menace of the two blocs’ destroying each other; they now live in peace together—It’s really wonderful! Everyone also must recognize that all nations in the world nowadays are uniting their efforts and collaborating stably more than ever, in comparison with the intense hostility after the Second World War from 1945 to 1954 and 1989, when humanity almost reached doomsday.

For many years in Nha Trang, the meteorological station occasionally announced the arrival of a storm. The Lord then entered the True Contemplation of Samadhi and mobilized the Divine Dharma to neutralize it. Such times, the storm moved away to the open sea and disappeared. Nha Trang was thus safe. Once, there was a potentially dangerous earthquake to the people. Knowing this beforehand, the Lord mobilized the Earth Mass[46] to resolve the earthquake, avoiding damage to the people. The Lord did not need to tell anyone; only some of His close disciples knew the fact. How wonderful! Even the Most Venerable, attaining the Miraculous Bodhi Fruit like Reverend Tịnh Vương, incarnating Lord Maitreya, and completely saving living beings in this Degenerate-Life Period, still needs to keep body, mouth, and thought discreet in order to accomplish the fruit of fulfilling His vow. One day the Lord taught:

I need not the fame. Manifested miracles and supernatural powers will have the Devil King find every way and means to kill me. The opening of Tao Dharma will be unfinished.

The Gentle Saints hastily manifest their supernatural power, which have been acquired through their practicing Tao Dharma with creating effortful and virtuous merits. If they do not have enough talent, virtue, and the contemplative intelligence of Buddhism, they will easily be harmed. The One of Supreme Rank True Enlightenment is superior to the Gentle Saints, and no one can be superior to this One. He comprehends thousands and thousands of Dharmas thoroughly from His True Contemplation of Samadhi, making no imperfection. Therefore, He cannot be killed like the Gentle Saints, who still have contemplative intelligence of Buddhism and supernatural power, but not sufficient.

Although the Gentle Saints are widely aware of Tao Dharma and teach living beings Dharma well, they have insufficient eyes and ears for bright observation to mobilize the Tathagata Constitution. They therefore can't resolve anything completely about “the conduct of the Secular World Solver” for human beings and all the Four Species.

Living for more than fifteen years in Saigon, I was usually informed every few years by the meteorological station about a storm coming. Once, at the end of 1992, the Saigon television station emitted, every twenty minutes, an urgent announcement about a storm which would quickly pass by Saigon in the next twelve hours at a speed of 250km/h. I informed only my disciples that I would make use of the Divine Dharma to make the storm return to the Eastern Sea and dissolve. All my disciples heard this and saw that the weather was still calm afterward, the blue sky was as clear as every normal day, and there was no storm.

The people who heard the news prepared for the storm. They thought the Saigon Meteorological Station was wrong, not knowing that I had nullified the storm for the sake of Saigon and other surrounding areas.

Paradoxically, I had to cautiously hide when teaching the Tao of enlightenment to my faithful disciples, splitting them into small groups. The “Hell Door” was waiting for Reverend Tịnh Vương and me, whenever we displayed negligence! The Lord often complained: “Building virtue for life is considered as a crime. How cruel!”

Facing so many hardships, the Vietnamese people were competing to cross the ocean. Their letters and telegrams sent from abroad to their relatives who still remained in their native land were the most needed spiritual food for the people. The governments of Khánh Hoà and other cities seized these letters, censored them, and did not give them to the people. Everyone was impatient, neglected food and sleep, lamented, and wondered about the fate of their relatives, if they were alive or dead after crossing the sea. The Lord Himself was in the same situation. After six months, the Lord said: Letters and news are sacred rights of human life, and no country in the world should do such a horrible thing. One can abstain from eating and accept being emaciated with hunger, but will go crazy and die from losing their spirit. The Devas convened a meeting to resolve the issue about which the Lord had complained.

As a result, a storm came to Khánh Hoà province, causing crop failure and gravely damaging roads, bridges, water, and electrical infrastructure. Short of funds, the provincial authorities hastened to distribute letters and telegrams from abroad to the people, charging an additional receipt for each letter. Other provinces imitated Khánh Hoà in distributing letters from abroad. From then on, the authorities no longer seized those letters.

This is the ultimate manner of action by which Devas resolved the question gently. If the wind blew at a speed of 200–250km/h and the rain was heavier, in a few days, the destruction would have been much more terrible. That was the part for Devas, for Land Deities: if their anger had risen, it would have been much more dreadful, and the disastrous results would have been immeasurable!

In this Inferior-Life Period, due to the root cause of the compassion and philanthropy of the Holy King, he would accept dying for the sake of living beings, but he would not be able to change the minds of the leaders and kings who were following the three evil ways. If they refused to obey and act with goodness, even the Holy King would be reduced to inaction and his supernatural power would not win against the evil force. This root cause had to be in accordance with circumstances and with the degree of transformation of the rooted evilness. Therefore, the One, having attained the Miraculous Fruit of Buddha like Lord Maitreya, could not sit quietly and abandon people to live in obscurity or sink into the sea of suffering. The Lord had to miraculously make use of the supernatural power of Samadhi to completely save living beings, and at the same time convert disobedient ones. That was the supreme truth that the Holy King rank, with insufficient effortful merit and virtuous merit, would not be able to perform.

The Lord has promulgated this proclamation for attestation and the Bodhisattvas, Dharma Protectors, Devas, and Deities, etc., must help all the national leaders and their subordinates with impartial spirits and with clear identification between good and evil. If there are living beings with rooted evils, the Invisible One who is in the Lord’s Constitution needs to awaken them so that they can positively correct their natures, becoming good. This is the order given to all human beings and the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds, which are in need of a peaceful life and the right to live naturally at ease, and that cannot be violated.

Scientists and leaders should remember that every Invisible Deity, Deva, and Dharma Protector has unthinkable supernatural power. Utilizing intelligence, scientists could produce atomic bombs, hydrogen bombs, neutron bombs, bacterial bombs, and chemical bombs. Too much labor is invested, but all of that is nothing in comparison with a Deity. By His supreme real authority and in addition to a miraculous matchless power, Reverend Tịnh Vương, incarnating Lord Maitreya, could order them to manifest their compassionate spirits, creating virtuous merits in their Dharma practice. The Deities absolutely venerate the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas because they very much respect the Tao and the fruit of Dharma practice. They are ready for action beside the Lord in countless numbers.

In this Period of Return and Degenerate Life since 1975, the Lord witnessed the citizens oppressed and their daily activities regulated excessively and strictly by the government, such as their right to dwell and to free speech. The Dharma practice to build morality was especially controlled and forbidden from developing. In fact, only the Dharma practice with fulfillment in accordance with the truth has morality. If everything was too easy and happened according to human thoughts and regulations, why is it documented in history that, through many dynasties, Holy People came to life to correct and teach living beings to always maintain rooted goodness?

The Communist government forbade the printing and distributing of the Lord’s sutras written before 1975, which aimed at enlightening living beings to practice seeking liberation through knowing, seeing, and solving. Once, the Four Followers in Saigon used handicraft instruments to print the book, The Doctrine on the Path to Liberation, which was confiscated by the authorities, who considered it a grave offense and put each of them in prison for three years. Their relatives had to make a lot of petitions for lesser sentences. They were finally released two years later. As for me, the police arrested and pointed out to my face: “I'll condemn you to ten years' penal servitude to make you know your destiny.” The Lord had to appeal to the Dragon Deity Dharma Protector to liberate me from prison for the second time. The first time, I had been “re-educated” for 42 months.

After the sutra was seized, the police gave it to a national monk to read. The national Buddhist committee, unable to understand the sutra, concluded it to be paganism, and we were put in prison. As for Reverend Tịnh Vương, incarnating Lord Maitreya, living in Nha Trang, the city police were coming to arrest Him while He was tired, losing consciousness, and receiving “saline” infusions. As they were waiting to seize the Lord, the Dragon Deity Dharma Protector guarding Him went to resolve the crisis. Soon after, a favorable Dharma appeared, bringing miraculous peace in His residence. The Lord could avoid prison. The police came afterward to watch and question the Lord as regularly as eating daily meals. Once they told the Lord: “You should remember: I can put you into prison whenever I want.” During this return journey of fulfillment Tao Dharma, Lord Maitreya was confronted in hellfire many times by the Ghost King and Devil King and their descendants who would kill Him, but they all failed and had to give up and release Him.

On the days of great ceremonies of Dharma Constitution Vietnamese Buddhism at the Central Superior Association in Nha Trang, the Lord would sit in a semi-cross-legged position, frequently entering True Contemplation to appeal to the Dragon Deity Dharma Protectors to stand guard over places in the city. More than 100 representatives of the Dharma Protectors, Venerables, and faithful followers came from several provinces to attend the ceremonies. The Dragon Deity Dharma Protector made the weather into prolonged rain, with a dark sky and cold, and prolonged wind before the beginning of the ceremony. Therefore, every house had its door closed, the street was quite deserted, and police and secret agents took shelter from the rain and reposed. Meanwhile, the Four Followers of Dharma Constitution came from all directions of the city of Nha Trang, correctly dressed, and walked through the rain and wind to go to the Great Ceremony at the Lord’s house. Afterwards, they all, one-by-one, dispersed in an orderly way and left His ceremony site, with nobody wandering in front of His house. If any true disciple forgot, the organizing committee immediately reminded them. Once the Great Ceremony was over, the sky became transparent, the clouds dispersed, and the rain stopped—how refreshing and satisfactory. At times like that, the Devas, Invisible Dharma Protectors, and Deities were standing guard outside. The Visible Dharma Protectors were taking care of the organization inside without error or negligence even in small things. All the Lord’s true disciples voluntarily kept silent and discreet.

Everyone who is Vietnamese knows that in this Dharma-Ending Age, believers were no longer permitted to even visit the temples. A group of about three visitors gathering at a citizen’s house would pose a lot of trouble, which could not be described at all. Those in power wrongly thought that death was the end. They did not realize that their actions would cause them to go into a hellfire of suffering. Only the one with contemplative meditation intelligence really knows meticulously that in each lifetime, it would be very difficult to become human beings again.

The Lord often taught: It was too difficult to construct the foundation of True Dharma in this Period of Return and Dharma Ending, but the Lord remained diligent with plenty of Supreme Intelligence. During this period, when the curtain of fire was engulfing all, many Tao practitioners felt the difficulty and escaped over the border by crossing the sea to practice Tao Dharma abroad. Indeed, without Supreme Intelligence, one would not be able to fulfill the Tao Dharma in Vietnam. The Lord taught us: “If you practice a Dharma when it is easy and leave it when difficult, you are still weighing and choosing; and if you become a Buddha, you are actually only a Precept Buddha, and are called Pratyeka Buddha or Solitary Enlightened Buddha.” This fruit is very small, much inferior to that of the Bodhisattvas. Remaining persistent and courageous here, practicing Tao Dharma, and facing life, a Tao practitioner could, in one day, become a Buddha with the Bodhi Miraculous Fruit. Once entering the Precept Buddha, it is difficult to get out. In many cases, Tao practitioners would remain there in asamkhyeya lifetimes[47] without knowing that they have become attached to that precept. With the exception that the Tao practitioner who leaves their ego and their ownership may one day be able to meet the One of Bodhi Miraculous Fruit, who will help them continue the Dharma practice.

For the first time, the Lord sat weeping in sympathy for living beings both domestic and abroad. The true disciples, seeing this, were frightened and hastily asked Him about it. The Lord said: “The Northern government treated the Southern people as slaves.” 

At the same time, Fairy Practitioners in the Thất Sơn Mountains of Châu Đốc, who were aware of this, immediately informed living beings and their disciples of the Maitreya Buddha: “The Lord was weeping for living beings in this Inferior-Life Period.” They were indeed clever, but practiced according to fixed thoughts, not knowing the way of practice in accordance with the practical truth. Therefore, they were not able to see the Lord either. They could take the picture and see the picture, but could not enter into the scene. They do not live in the scene and thus cannot be in contact with people in the scene. It’s the same for us, who are seeing the pictures on television, but unable to come in contact with them; we are unable to go to the places to see and talk with the real people, real scenes, and things.

Judging profoundly and impartially the catastrophe inflicted upon humankind in general and Vietnam in particular, including Himself, by the Soviet Union, the Lord burned seven agarwood incenses one day before the Three Postures of Buddhas, vowing decisively to salvage living beings completely to be at peace and safety.

Since then, the Lord usually emerged from True Contemplation every night to go to the Soviet Union, the United States… accompanied by Invisible Dragon Deity Dharma Protectors, appealing to the Land Deity of the capital of Moscow and the Land Deities, and the Divine Deities to come to the Eastern European nations to offer impartial help. Particularly in the Soviet Union, the Land Deity found and “implanted” for the Lord a person with a “new thought” and with true power. This way, the Lord could discreetly transform the situation of the world and bring about freedom to humanity.

At that time, I remembered the Lord’s teaching words well: “If I could not make the Soviet Union awaken and reform, the catastrophe of the Third World War would be unavoidable, and the consequences would be immeasurable for humanity and all creatures on the globe.”
